When we say we are brethren

Yea, same with Christ...

When we say we are brethren…first, it thus vertically means we are joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17); the same blood running through Jesus’ veins runs through ours also(Heb. 2:11,14,17) and we have the same rights and privileges before the father just like Jesus (John 1:12, 16:26-27)—loved of God equally. What a life! Christ is at the right hand of the Father representing us (1John 2:1, Eph.2:6-7), while we are on earth representing Him(2Cor.5:20), to the praise of God the Father. Glory to God!

One with the brethren...

Secondly, it also thus horizontally means that we brethren in the body of Christ are as though we came out of the same womb; the same blood runs through our veins—the blood that runs eternal life through our body. We are individually joined to God as one spirit with Him, and His Spirit being one, we, brethren, are thus one! We look at one another through the common transparent spotless glass of God’s Love and communicate with one another accordingly appropriately—in love. We address one another with the same esteem befitting of Christ.

We see one another in the light of the new life of the Spirit, our present apparent weaknesses and inadequacies notwithstanding. Our victories are shared; we bare one another’s burdens. Together, we collectively face each person’s personal challenges. We care for one another. We “find no fault” in one another, but always devoted to one another’s balanced growth in life, correcting from a standpoint of love when necessary. We love one another simply because we are brethren!

Glory to God!
